Ceramic forms inspired by gestural movements of birds in flight. Earthenware clay, hand built with a high fired glaze.

“My heavy paws thumped on the ground with the weight of the bear,

The hair on my back flew forwards in the wind like a flying wolf,

My nose travelled across the ground like the wild pig,

The skin on my belly crawled the earth with the pace of a vicious snake,

And all this time, I carried on running,

Without thought, and only a slight memory and recognition of being.”
